How to change or replace the battery on a Volvo S40, C30, V50, C70 key fob transponder. This should work on the Keyfobs for model years 2004.5, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 as long as it’s
the same style in the video. Replacing the battery is fairly simple if your keyfob is not working and you will need a small phillips screwdriver and a replacement battery model CR2032 Battery.
This will work on the transponder model in the video. Others may be similar. Be careful when taking apart since you can lose some small parts.
The FcciD number is LTQVO315TX and PN was 31110090. When I looked up Volvo's parts website it shows that this Smart key or Keyfob will work for the following models and years but I do know that some can be different.
Volvo C30 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
Volvo C70 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
Volvo S40 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
Volvo V50 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
Even though Volvo states that this Key Fob is the same for all the models listed above I have seen a different style or design so just wanted to mention that.
